Twitter – Food & "DRINK", #really? #fail

Ok, not trying to bash Twitter but really? They have their recommended users category listed as Food & Drink but there is only three Drink personalities on the list.

They have a litany of Food personalities (to see the entire list, click here). For Twitter, I think this is an absolute #fail. You can see all their listings here: Food & Drink Recommended Users. Who would you add to the list? @jancisrobinson @garyvee @randallgrahm @svbwine @tomcwark @megmaker @willieboysf @jasminehirsch @lesliesb @nataliemaclean @ericasimov @, @, @, @ – we have no lack of superstar wine Twitter celebrities, why doesn’t Twitter notice?

Do you have suggestion? Please put them in the comments or Tweet “@Twitter pls update your recommended Drink section w/ [insert your fav(s) here] #twitterdrinkupgrade”

I really hope you all get behind this to help the great Drink Tweeter’s out there get recognition they deserve.

I have an amazingly engaging and hilariously funny personality when I’m drinking. ;O

Agree. Indeed there should be a category called wine

Only ten votes allowed?  Waaaaay too few! Particularly if one happens to be from (or in love with) Italy!
    But hey…it’s a good start!
    Excellent idea!

Should definitely be a wine category. “Food and drink” is insulting. I like the wine way better than I like the food.

Wow. Twitter’s list really is kind of lame. Probably too broad a category, too. Some of the missing wine peeps are @jonbonne, @nywinesalon, @RN74, and ones others have already mentioned. Also, one of the best food & wine Twitter people is @herbguy – Ron Zimmerman of the HerbFarm Restaurant. He’s is a fountain of interesting information and shares incredible experiences with the Twitterverse. @Rick_Bayless of Chicgao’s Frontera Grill is another very active – and interactive — Twitter person.
