Clay founded Terra Sage Corporation which has been in the business of providing Strategic Consulting services and software to the beverage alcohol industry since 1999. In 2003, TSC launched Bevinco of Miami to deliver consulting services to the premier restaurant, bar, and hotel operators in South Florida. Profit maximization was achieved through leveraging best practices using Bevinco Bar Systems tools (www.bevinco.com) and supply chain management services.
Prior to founding TSC, Clay co-founded eSkye Solutions in early 1999 and served as Vice President of Commercial Operations and then Vice President of Sales. eSkye’s ability to connect suppliers, distributors and retailers in the wine spirits industry is unparalleled in the US and Europe. Clay designed, developed and implemented a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy for the winery division, leading to its acquisition by Constellation Software in 2008. eSkye continues to be a leading provider of software and strategic consulting to the global beverage industry with eChannel Management applications.
Subsequent to this acquisition and leading the transition to Orion Wine Software (division of Constellation Software), Clay, through TSC served as Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing with Compli, Inc. a winery compliance services and software firm in Paso Robles, CA. Clay is also actively involved with Wine 2.0, a social networking and events management company.
Clay holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
